Dame tú opinión sobre si ser un fotógrafo independiente o no [ES-EN]

Para, para. Si, ahí dice independiente pero no del que te crees. Lee todo antes de saltar hasta el final y hablar lo que no es. Si no eres cubano, obvia lo que dije hasta ahora, comenzamos.

Quien me conoce o sigue mi contenido en Hive sabe que estuve varios meses trabajando como fotorreportero en una revista cubana llamada Juventud Técnica. Para mí fue una experiencia brutal, pues era un sueño que tenía al gustarme tanto la fotografía documental. Lastimosamente no pude seguir trabajando ahí por diferir con mi otro trabajo como desarrollador y no he podido encontrar otro trabajo de fotógrafo de momento.

Así que he ido dándole vueltas a la idea de hacer el mismo trabajo de manera independiente, buscando noticias sobre temas que me gustan o entrevistando personalidades por darles ejemplos. No pienso hablar de política, así que no tiene nada que ver con el concepto de independiente que se tiene en Cuba y para seguir en la tónica tampoco pienso explicarlo. Aunque tengo mi posición política odio hablar de ello. Nunca trae nada bueno y tampoco quiero ligar lo que me gusta hacer con eso. Así que tras este disclaimer necesario les comento bien claro lo que quiero hacer y quiero que me dejen su opinión en los comentarios. Si, quiero saber qué piensas, siempre.

La cosa es muy sencilla. No quiero dejar de crear fotos de estilo documental y tengo este blog que me ha hecho mejorar como escritor, o al menos le he tomado el gusto. Ya estando en la revista se me dijo de crear fotorreportajes completos yo solo (no solo la fotografía sino la redacción también) y se me ayuda con correcciones en la redacción para ir aprendiendo. Por falta de tiempo no pude hacer ni uno, así que es una espinita que tengo clavada dentro. ¿Esto quiere decir que solo hablare de noticias? No, no soy periodista, ni redactor y tampoco un loco, medio loco quizás. Pero si me imagino poder encontrar cosas de las que pocos hablen pero que sean llamativas y que a ustedes les gustaría conocer. Si no puedes pensar en algo que cumpla con lo que digo, pues no creas que yo te puedo dar muchos ejemplos. Solo diré que casi siempre me enfocaré a la tecnología, la adopción de criptomonedas en Cuba, entrevistas a personas que creo tienen mucho que contar y la fotografía en todas sus esferas (esto último como hasta ahora en mi blog).

Hasta aquí la idea. Ya ando trabajando en algunas cosillas, pero quería conocer antes vuestra opinión. Mas que todo quiero darle un poco más de vida a mi perfil personal como lo hacía al inicio y ahora tengo la experiencia para ir un poco mas allá.

Those who know me or follow my content on Hive know that I spent several months working as a photojournalist for a Cuban magazine called Juventud Técnica. For me, it was a great experience because it was a dream I had when I liked documentary photography so much. Unfortunately, I could not continue working there because I differed from my other job as a developer and I have not been able to find another job as a photographer at the moment.

So I have been thinking about doing the same work independently, looking for news about topics I like or interviewing personalities to give examples. I'm not going to talk about politics, so it has nothing to do with the concept of independence that exists in Cuba, and to continue in the same tone I'm also not going to explain it. Although I have my political position I hate talking about it. It never brings anything good and I also don't want to link what I like to do with that. So after this necessary disclaimer, I tell you very clearly what I want to do and I want you to leave your opinion in the comments. Yes, I want to know what you think, always.

The thing is very simple. I don't want to stop creating photos of a documentary style and I have this blog that has made me improve as a writer, or at least I have taken a liking to it. Already being in the magazine I was told to create complete photo reports myself (not only the photography but also the writing) and I am helped with corrections in the script to learn. Due to lack of time, I could not do even one, so it is a thorn that I have stuck inside. Does this mean that I will only talk about news? No, I am not a journalist, nor a writer, and not even crazy, half crazy maybe. But if I imagine being able to find things that few people talk about but that are striking and that you would like to know. If you can't think of something that meets what I say, don't think that I can give you many examples. I will only say that almost always I will focus on technology, the adoption of cryptocurrencies in Cuba, interviews with people who I believe have a lot to say, and photography in all its spheres (the latter as so far in my blog).

Up to here the idea. I am already working on some things, but I wanted your opinion first. More than anything I want to give a little more life to my personal profile as I did at the beginning and now I have the experience to go a little further.
