LGBTQ+ march and photographers behind it [EN-ES]

Let me start by telling you that these photos are not from an LGBTQ+ pride march per se, but are part of the photos I took during the workers' day march in Cuba on May 1st (First photo). I had to attend due to the place where I work and so I decided to take my camera with me to give a little substance to the day. It was a surprise for me to see in the crowd a huge flag with the LGBTQ+ colors, the few times I have gone to this kind of events this flag was not usually seen and I am glad that they now stand out freely in these events. I approached them to take some pictures and what happened to other groups of people, many took the march as a party and posed for the camera, the hustle and bustle was not little. Taking advantage of the fact that we were already in the month of June and that the LGBTQ+ community celebrates its pride throughout the month, I wanted to bring these images to a publication.

Déjenme comenzar diciéndoles que estas fotos no son de una marcha a favor del orgullo LGBTQ+ en sí, sino que es parte de las fotos que realice durante la marcha por el día de los trabajadores en Cuba el pasado 1 de mayo (Primera foto). Tuve que asistir debido al lugar donde trabajo y por ello decidí llevarme la cámara para darle un poco de sustancia al día. Fue para mi una sorpresa ver dentro de toda la multitud una bandera enorme con los colores LGBTQ+, las pocas veces que he ido a este tipo de eventos no solía verse esta bandera y me alegra que ya destaquen libremente en estos eventos. Me acerque a hacerles unas fotos y me paso lo que no en otros grupos de personas, muchos se tomaban la marcha como una fiesta y posaban para la cámara, la algarabía no era poca. Aprovechando que ya estábamos en el mes de junio y que la comunidad LGBTQ+ celebra todo el mes su orgullo, quise traer estas imágenes a una publicación.

Something else that caught my attention that day was that I was not the only photographer in the crowd. Normally you can find most of them taking their pictures from outside the march, but like me there were several people walking along with everyone else looking for those unique images that can happen in crowded places. I spent a lot of time looking for that detail among all the people that called the attention and was perfectly focused, but I will talk about those images another day. In these I also want to show you those photographers that I met and that I was able to take some snapshots of them while they were working. Unlike me, who at that time did not have a job as a photojournalist and I will tell you about them soon, they did have access credentials and were probably working for a newspaper or magazine. Algo mas que me llamo la atención de ese día, fue que no era yo el único fotógrafo dentro de toda la multitud. Normalmente puedes encontrarte a la mayoría haciendo sus fotos desde fuera de la marcha, pero como yo eran varios los que caminan junto a todos los demás buscando esas imágenes únicas que pueden darse en lugares abarrotados de personas. Yo me la pase buscando ese detalle entre toda la gente que llame la atención y quede perfectamente enfocado, pero de esas imágenes les hablare otro día. En estas quiero mostrarles también a esos fotógrafos que me encontré y que pude hacerles algunas instantáneas mientras trabajaban. Al contrario de mi que en ese momento no tenia un trabajo como fotorreportero y del que pronto les hablare, ellos si poseían credenciales de acceso y de seguro trabajaban para algún periódico o revista.
