Loma del Capiro || Trip to Santa Clara Part 1 [EN-ES]

Hello to all travel lovers, this is my first publication in this community and I hope you like it.

My name is Manuel, I am 27 years old Cuban and I live in Havana. A few days ago I visited the city of Santa Clara which is the place where I was born and where I lived for 14 years, but for years I only go to visit the family and vacation. This time was no different but as I was going with my girlfriend @aylenmp we went to several places that she didn't know and I'm sure you will be interested in knowing them too. That is why I will be creating some posts about it and in this one I plan to tell you about the loma del Capiro.

This hill is well known in the city for being one of its highest points, besides having the possibility to be in contact with nature and enjoy a beautiful view of the whole city. We chose to go at sunset, which is usually the best view from anywhere.

You can notice the altitude at which we were and I must say that there were quite a few people that day. Most of these people, from what I could tell, go to share with their family for a while and let the children have fun with almost no sanitary protection as it is a spacious and natural place. I leave you with some of the photos I took so you can see the views of the place and I was even able to capture some of a rainbow.

Hola a todos los amantes de los viajes, esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y espero les guste.

Me llamo Manuel, soy cubano de 27 años y vivo en La Habana. Hace unos días visite la ciudad de Santa Clara que es el lugar donde nací y donde viví por 14 años, pero desde hace años solo voy de visita a ver la familia y vacacionar. Esta vez no fue diferente pero como iba junto a mi novia @aylenmp salimos a varios lugares que ella no conocía y seguro les interesará conocerlos a ustedes también. Es por ello que iré creando algunas publicaciones sobre ello y en esta pienso hablarles de la loma del Capiro.

Esta loma es muy conocida en la ciudad por ser uno de sus puntos mas altos, ademas de tener la posibilidad de estar en contacto con la naturaleza y disfrutar de una bella vista de toda la ciudad. Nosotros elegimos ir en el horario del atardecer que desde cualquier lugar suelen ser las mejores vistas.

Pueden notar la altura a la que estábamos y debo decir que no pocas eran las personas que ese día fueron. La mayoría de estas personas, por lo que pude notar, van a compartir con su familia un rato y dejar que los hijos se diviertan sin casi protección sanitaria al ser un lugar espacioso y natural. Les dejo algunas de las fotos que hice para que vean las vistas del lugar e incluso pude capturar algo de un arcoiris.

The sunset arrived and as a photographer I was finally able to take some pictures for my portfolio, always with my girlfriend bothering me a bit because when I start using the camera I don't stop, hence you see her covering the sunset in the first image. We'll see what she says when she looks here 😂.

Llego el atardecer y como fotógrafo al fin pude hacer algunas fotos para mi portafolio, siempre con mi novia molestándome un poco porque cuando comienzo a usar la cámara no paro, de ahí que la vean a ella tapando la puesta de sol en la primera imagen. Ya veremos que dice cuando se vea aquí 😂.
