Lugares de mi Habana, presentándome a la comunidad || Places of my Havana, introducing myself to the community [ESP-ENG]

Hola a todos, soy un fotógrafo cubano y quería presentarles algunas de las fotos que he hecho a lugares de mi ciudad que suelen resaltar ante los visitante. En muchas ocaciones cuando salgo por las calles y llevo mi cámara me suelo fijar en la arquitectura de mi Habana, es como viajar al pasado al ver tan majestuosas construcciones.

Uno de los lugares mas conocidos el Faro del Morro, una construcción que se ideo para la defensa de la entrada de la bahía. Destaca por su posición geográfica y las bellas vistas que tiene de la ciudad. Hoy en día es utilizado como museo o un lugar donde realizar actividades de gran envergadura por su tamaño.

Hello everyone, I am a Cuban photographer and I wanted to present some of the photos I have taken of places in my city that tend to stand out to visitors. On many occasions when I go out on the streets and carry my camera I usually fixate on the architecture of my Havana, it is like traveling to the past when I see such majestic buildings.

One of the best known places is the Faro del Morro, a construction that was designed to defend the entrance to the bay. It stands out for its geographical position and the beautiful views it has of the city. Today it is used as a museum or a place to carry out large-scale activities due to its size.

La siguiente la realice en durante un atardecer, de ahí la calidez de la luz que se refleja en el edificio, este es el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. En este edificio sé exhiben obras del arte universal y se encuentra en una de las zonas más antiguas de la ciudad. La otra imagen que muestro es una de las cuatro torres que se sitúan en las esquinas del edificio, logre capturar la imagen desde un hotel aledaño al museo.

The next one I did in during a sunset, hence the warmth of the light that is reflected in the building, this is the National Museum of Fine Arts. In this building works of universal art are exhibited and it is located in one of the oldest areas of the city. The other image that I show is one of the four towers that are located in the corners of the building, I managed to capture the image from a hotel near the museum.

No podemos hablar de la Habana sin mostrar una zona que es muy transitada por turistas y visitantes en general. La llamada Habana Vieja es una zona residencial famosa por su arquitectura, muy conocida por sus balcones donde siempre hay sabanas blancas tendidas.

We cannot talk about Havana without showing an area that is heavily traveled by tourists and visitors in general. The so-called Old Havana is a residential area famous for its architecture, well known for its balconies where there are always white sheets stretched out.

Para cerra no puede ser otro que el Capitolio. Este edificio sirvio como hogar de los presidentes del país antes de la Revolución, hoy en día es un museo de historia. Hace poco fue totalmente restaurado, incluyendo sus jardines, como parte del festejo por los 500 años de creada la ciudad.

To close it cannot be other than the Capitol. This building served as the home of the country's presidents before the Revolution, today it is a history museum. It was recently fully restored, including its gardens, as part of the celebration for the 500 years since the city was created.
