No to racial discrimination [EN-ES]

Hello lovers of black and white, today I bring you just one photo but it conveys a lot to me. I made it during an outing with several friends from the photography club that we did almost without planning. We chose as a place an almost abandoned building and, as you can see, quite destroyed.

In a quite part of the building full of rubble I could see a huge stone that seemed to float in the air and it gave me a great idea to take the photo. I told one of the models that accompanied us and he liked the idea.

As you can see in the following image, the stone seems to be held by the boy, but in truth it is being held by beams and he only pretends to use force. To accomplish my goal, I made it look like he was holding it by himself, removing the beams with Photoshop.

Hola amantes del blanco y negro, hoy les traigo solo una foto pero que para mí transmite mucho. La hice durante una salida junto a varios amigos del club de fotografía que hicimos sin planificar casi. Escogimos como lugar un edificio casi abandonado y como pueden ver bastante destruido.

En una parte bastante del edificio llena de escombros pude ver una piedra enorme que parecía flotar en el aire y me dio una gran idea para hacer la foto. Se la comente a uno de los modelos que nos acompañaba y le gusto la idea.

Como pueden ver en la siguiente imagen la piedra parece sostenerla el muchacho pero en verdad esta siendo sujetada por una vigas y él solo simula hacer la fuerza. Para cumplir con mi objetivo hice parecer que esta sosteniéndola él solo, eliminando las vigas con el programa Photoshop.

This is how it turned out after cleaning the beams and I darkened one of the walls a bit to make the boy stand out more.
Así quedo tras hacer la limpieza de las vigas y oscurecí un poco una de las paredes para resaltar mas al muchacho.

Many years ago slavery was abolished throughout the world, but there is still a lot of racism and discrimination, a pending task in many countries of the world. In Cuba there is no big problem with this but there are remnants of a convulsive past in the oldest thoughts of the people. For me, this image represents the heavy burden that many still have to bear, racial discrimination is still a problem that must be solved and for this we must change the thinking of many people. This is my humble contribution to that social change.

Ya hace muchos años se abolió la esclavitud en todo el mundo, pero sigue existiendo mucho racismo y discriminación, una tarea pendiente en muchos países del mundo. En Cuba no existe un gran problema con esto pero si quedan remanentes de un pasado convulso en los pensamientos mas viejos de las personas. Para mí, esta imagen representa la pesada carga que deben soportar muchos aún, la discriminación racial es aún un problema que se debe resolver y para ello debemos cambiar el pensamiento de muchas personas. Este es mi humilde aporte a ese cambio social.
