PoshToken integra ahora Reddit [ES-EN] [Tutorial]

Quizás te recuerdes de un tutorial que cree no hace tanto sobre como monetizar tus tweets gracias a al token Posh, sino es así, te recomiendo lo leas antes que este. Si no sabes nada del token Posh y como obtenerlo, vas a necesitar si o si leer esa publicacion antes.

Pero antes de comenzar con este tutorial quiero que me respondan a una pregunta en los comentarios: ¿Cuál prefieres, Twitter o Reddit?

En mi caso particular prefiero Twitter, pero, porque no ambos. Hasta ahora no había encontrado una razón para usar Reddit y me ha costado familiarizarme un poco, pero es cuestión de abrir la mente en aras de promover Hive fuera en la web2. Descargué Reddit, volví a loguear mi cuenta y he pasado varios días entendiendo como funciona. Pero comencemos ya.

You might remember a tutorial I created not so long ago about how to monetize your tweets thanks to the Posh token, if not, I recommend you read it before this one. If you don't know anything about the Posh token and how to get it, you will need to read that post first.

But before we get started with this tutorial I want you to answer a question in the comments: Which one do you prefer, Twitter or Reddit?

In my particular case I prefer Twitter, but why not both? Until now I hadn't found a reason to use Reddit and it's taken me a while to get familiar with it, but it's a matter of opening my mind in the interest of promoting Hive on the web2. I downloaded Reddit, re-logged my account, and spent several days understanding how it works. But let's get started.

Para este primer paso vas a necesitar tener tu cuenta de Reddit abierta en el navegador y tu cuenta de Hive configurada en la extensión de @keychain, si no tienes una cuenta de Reddit ve creándola antes de seguir. Teniendo eso en mente vamos a ir a la web HivePosh, veras que te aparece como la siguiente imagen, no creo necesite decirte que hacer, pero igual te lo digo, toca ese botón que dice Login with Reddit para que te lleve a un sitio donde le darás permiso para loguearte con tu cuenta de esta red social.

Sign up with Reddit on Posh

For this first step, you are going to need to have your Reddit account open in the browser and your Hive account set up in the @keychain extension, if you don't have a Reddit account go ahead and create one before continuing. With that in mind let's go to the website HivePosh, you will see the following image, I don't think I need to tell you what to do, but I'll tell you anyway, tap that button that says Login with Reddit to take you to a site where you will permit to log in with your account of this social network.

En la siguiente imagen es donde debemos dar permiso a HivePosh para acceder a nuestra cuenta, siempre de una manera segura, así que quedaos tranquilos por esa parte.

In the following image is where we must permit HivePosh to access our account, always in a secure way, so stay calm about that part.

Luego nos redirigirá a HivePosh de nuevo para enlazar Reddit con nuestra cuenta de Hive. Es por ello que escribiremos nuestro usuario de Hive y le daremos al botón Authorise Account. Nos aparece nuestro usuario en la parte derecha y le damos a Link Account. Esto nos abrirá una ventana emergente de Keychain que nos permitirá firmar la entrada de manera segura y es la mayor diferencia con mi publicación anterior. Ya no necesitas usar HiveSigner y se agradece, al menos en mi opinión, pero vamos a seguir que sino empiezo hablar de @keychain y no soy muy parcial que digamos.

It will then redirect us to HivePosh again to link Reddit with our Hive account. That's why we will type our Hive user and hit the Authorise Account button. Our username appears on the right side and we click on Link Account. This will open a Keychain popup window that will allow us to sign in securely and is the biggest difference from my previous post. You no longer need to use HiveSigner and it is appreciated, at least in my opinion, but let's keep going otherwise I start talking about @keychain and I am not very biased.

Si hiciste todo bien, te debe cargar el sitio de HivePosh con un listado de todos los usuarios que poseen el token y los últimos tweets válidos para recibir Posh. Aqui creo que se debe enfocar en Reddit pues o mostrar los datos de ambos, algo que seguro @acidyo agrega pronto con la ayuda de @hivetrending. Terminamos el primer paso y el más fácil. vamos a por el mas díficil.

If you did everything right, it should load the HivePosh site with a list of all users who have the token and the last valid tweets to receive Posh. Here I think you should focus on Reddit then or show the data for both, something that I'm sure @acidyo will add soon with the help of @hivetrending. We finished the first and easiest step. let's go for the hardest one.

Promocionar Hive en Reddit

Al ser el más difícil y por no funcionar de la misma manera para cada uno, no voy a mostrar imágenes. Les digo esto porque Reddit se divide en distintas comunidades en base a al contenido que los usuarios han creado llamadas subreddit. En dependencia de tu contenido o el público objetivo que tengas, es como debes escoger entre estas comunidades para promocionar tus publicaciones de Hive, o las de otros usuarios. Existen algunas subreddits en donde no ganaremos nada de Posh por razones obvias y son cualquiera que estén relacionadas a Hive como /r/Ecency, /r/LeoFinance y /r/Actifit,

Teniendo esto listo, ya es momento de publicar en Reddit. En Reddit hay varios tipos de publicaciones, pero para poder obtener el token Posh solo puedes usar una de las dos siguientes: Link o Texto. Esto es algo que me choco pues mi contenido principal es la fotografía y en todas las subreddit que he encontrado no me permiten hacer publicaciones que no sean de tipo Foto obviamente. Pero publicaciones como esta sí que podre y estoy seguro que muchos de ustedes también.

¡Y listo! Ya enlazamos las cuentas, ya buscamos donde publicar en Reddit y ya promocionamos de manera correcta nuestras publicaciones de Hive por allá. Si todo salió bien, @poshtoken nos avisara con un comentario en dicha publicación de Hive de la misma forma que con Twitter. La cantidad de Posh que ganemos dependerá de la interacción que logremos en Reddit y en cierta medida del Karma que poseamos en Reddit. No me preguntes que es el Karma porque aún no lo sé exactamente, pero mientras más tengamos, mejor.

Ya por hoy me retiro esperando que les sea de utilidad este pequeño tutorial y deseando que me comenten que tal les fue. Pero se me ocurre una última cosa.

Promote Hive on Reddit

Being the most difficult and because it doesn't work the same way for everyone, I'm not going to show images. I tell you this because Reddit is divided into different communities based on the content users have created called a subreddit. Depending on your content or the target audience you have, is how you should choose between these communities to promote your Hive posts or those of other users. There are some subreddits where we won't earn any Posh for obvious reasons and they are any that are related to Hive such as /r/Ecency, /r/LeoFinance, and /r/Actifit,

Having this ready, it's now time to post on Reddit. On Reddit, there are several types of posts, but to get the Posh token you can only use one of the following two: Link or Text. This is something that shocked me because my main content is photography and in all the subreddit I've found I'm not allowed to make posts that are not Photo type. But in posts like this, I can and I'm sure many of you can too.

And that's it! We've linked the accounts, found where to post on Reddit, and correctly promoted our Hive posts over there. If everything goes well, @poshtoken will let us know with a comment on that Hive post in the same way as Twitter. The amount of Posh we earn will depend on the interaction we achieve on Reddit and to some extent the Karma we have on Reddit. I was hoping you wouldn't ask me what Karma is because I still don't know exactly, but the more we have, the better.
