Street Photography in Cuba #2 [EN-ES] [8 IMAGES]

Hello black and white lovers, today I bring you my second edition of my street photography, this time very fresh, recently edited and direct to Hive.

Yesterday, Sunday, I gathered my strength after an exhausting week of work and went out through the streets of my Havana to capture a bit of the atmosphere, from the good to the bad. I must tell you that it is my first outing of this type for more than two years for the issues that we all know, that is why I went looking for wide places and photographing everyday life without getting too close to people. Normally I do it enough to do a portrait, which is something I love to do but you have to be careful. So remember to take the necessary measures when you go out for a street or outdoor session.

In this first image I try to show you an empty neighborhood, notice the amount of electrical or telephone cables that exist, they tarnish the city a little in their path but they have already become an important part. Hopefully one day they will remove them and put them underground, as a photographer they would help me a lot.

Hola a amantes del blanco y negro, hoy les traigo mi segunda edición de mis fotografías callejeras, estas vez bien frescas, recién editadas y directo a Hive.

Ayer domingo me arme de fuerzas tras una semana agotadora de trabajo y salí por las calles de mi Habana a capturar un poco el ambiente, desde lo bueno hasta lo malo. Les debo decir que es mi primera salida de este tipo desde hace mas de dos años por las cuestiones que todos conocemos, es por ello que fui buscando lugares amplios y fotografiar la cotidianidad sin acercarme mucho a las personas. Normalmente me hacerlo lo suficiente como para hacer algún retrato que es algo que me encanta hacer pero hay que cuidarse. Así que recuerden tomar las medidas necesarias cuando salgan a realizar una sesión de callejera o de exteriores.

En esta primera imagen busque mostrarles un barrio vacío, noten la cantidad de cables eléctricos o de telefonía que existen, empañan un poco la ciudad a su paso pero ya se han vuelto una parte importante. Ojalá algún día los retiren y los pongan bajo tierra, a mi como fotógrafo me ayudarían mucho.

Here you can see one of the many evils of the city, respect for cleanliness is often not correct, so images like this are common today.

Aquí pueden ver uno de los tantos males de la ciudad, el respeto a la limpieza no suele ser el correcto muchas veces por lo que imágenes como esta son comunes hoy en día.

In this can be a long line of cars that are mostly taxis, that's because this place is a travel station for those who move between cities. If you pass near these cars you will see how drivers approach asking if you need a taxi or where you want to go, regardless of whether you are passing through or if you are just giving a pass like me.

En esta pueden una fila larga de autos que son taxis en su gran mayoría, eso es porque este lugar es una estación de viajes para quienes se mueven entre ciudades. Si pasas cerca de estos autos veras como se acercan choferes preguntando si necesitas un taxi o para donde quieres ir, sin importar si estas de paso o si solamente estas dando un pase como yo.

This is the travel station, right now the part that you can see is under repair and therefore there are not many transport buses nearby. Normally it is full and more on these dates when people travel to visit family. It was the photo that I liked the most because of the minimalism it conveys.

Esta es la estación de viajes, ahora mismo la parte que logran ver esta en reparaciones y por ello no hay muchos omnibus de transporte cerca. Normalmente se encuentra llena y mas en estas fechas donde las personas viajan a visitar la familia. Fue la foto que mas me gusto por el minimalismo que transmite.

In this you can see the side of the building of a well-known theater in my city, it is called the National Theater of Cuba and in it many plays and important events have been carried out.

En esta puede ver un costado del edificio de un teatro muy conocido en mi ciudad, se llama Teatro Nacional de Cuba y en el se han llevado a cabo muchas obras teatrales y eventos importantes.

These last two photos refer to the highest place in the entire city, you can see the column that rises to the sky. This place is known as Plaza de la Revolución and in addition to being a monument it is also a museum and viewpoint. People can go up to it and see all of Havana from there.

Estas últimas dos fotos hacen referencia al lugar mas alto de toda la ciudad, pueden ver la columna que se alza al cielo. Este lugar es conocido como Plaza de la Revolución y ademas de ser un monumento es ademas un museo y mirador. Las personas pueden subir a el y ver toda la Habana desde ahí.
