Street Photography in Cuba #8 || Old street and old people [EN-ES]
Hello to all photography lovers. This will be my first version of my street photographs in color, because color can also be used in street and documentary photography. If you haven't read my articles about this type of photography so far, I recommend you to check my profile and you will find all the versions I have done so far.
Let's start with one of this Cuban flag that caught my attention as it is surrounded by the windows of a house and almost as if the paint of the flag was more cared for than the windows and the paint of the house in general. Almost as if someone was taking care of it on a regular basis. On this occasion I took these photos on the way to an event I talked about in this publication.
Hola a todos los amantes de la fotografía. Comenzamos con una de esta bandera cubana que me llamo la atención al estar rodeada por las ventanas de una casa y casi que estar mas cuidada la pintura de la bandera que las ventanas y la pintura de la casa en general. Casi como si alguien estuviese cuidando de ello de forma regular. En esta ocación tome estas fotos en el camino hacía un evento del que hable en esta [publicación]

In this one I loved the moment, I was in the frame which for me is perfect and the moment where no one was passing by the place. Here you can see an attachment where they transport vegetables that they are selling in the streets, mostly lettuce in this case.
En esta me encanto el momento, quede en el encuadre que para mi es perfecto y el momento donde nadie pasaba por el lugar. Aquí pueden ver una aditamento donde transportan vegetales que van vendiendo por las calles, en su mayoría lechuga en este caso.
Continuing with the plants, this is usually a typical balcony in Havana. You can usually see plants planted and a space to hang clothes although at that moment they had nothing hanging. This usually adorns the streets of old Havana.
Siguiendo con las plantas, este suele ser un balcón típico de la Habana. Suelen verse plantas sembradas y un espacio para colgar la ropa aunque en ese momento no tenían nada colgado. Esto suele adornar mucho las calles de la vieja Habana.
This was a graffiti or rather the union of several that caught my attention because of their colors. Many of them can be seen in this area of Havana and there are even artists who are well known in this branch of art who sign their works.
Este fue un graffiti o más bien la unión de varios que me llamaron la atención por sus colores. Suelen verse muchos en esta zona de la Habana e incluso existen artistas consagrados en esta rama del arte que firman sus obras y suelen ser conocidas.
This man caught my attention because of his dedication to wait, I don't know very well what he was waiting for but it was the only thing he was doing. I don't know what he was waiting for, but it was the only thing he was doing. Without much reaction he was taking the picture, even though I tried not to let him notice, but he didn't really care. If I hadn't been in a bit of a time crunch I would have asked him to take a portrait.
Este señor me llamo la atención por su dedicación a esperar, no se muy bien que esperaba pero era lo único que hacía. Sin mucha reacción bien como le hacía la foto aunque yo trate de que no se diera cuenta, pero no le importo mucho la verdad. Si no hubiese estado algo apurado de tiempo le hubiese pedido hacerle un retrato.
This old man was chatting with a woman, as I remember he was asking her where to buy some cigars and the lady didn't answer him much. Maybe she didn't want to pay attention to him, although I don't understand why, after taking the picture, I checked to make sure he was not lost or something like that.
Este viejito estaba conversando con una mujer, según recuerdo le preguntaba donde comprar algo de cigarros y la señora no le respondía mucho. Quizas no le quería hacer caso aunque no entiendo porque, luego de hacerle la foto me fije el señor llegará al lugar que quería, por confirmar de que no estuviese perdido o algo por el estilo.
This last one I did for the simple fact of the almost destroyed wooden door that you can see. It was a plus that the man passed by with his grocery bag and looked at the camera, the truth is that I think it adds something more to the image but for me the main protagonist is the door. Imagine living in that place even though it seems to be closed.
Esta última la hice por el simple hecho de la puerta de madera casi destruida que pueden ver. Fue un plus que el hombre pasada con su bolsa de comprar comida y mirara a la cámara, la verdad creo le agrego algo más a la imagen pero para mí el principal protagonista es la puerta. Imagínense vivir en ese lugar aunque al parecer esta clausurado.
