Un modelo atípico // An atypical model [ESP-ENG]
Hay veces que como fotógrafos salimos con la intención de hacer algún tipo de fotografía y terminamos haciendo otras, pues este fue uno de esos casos. Mi idea cuando tome la cámara fue salir a la azotea y hacer algunas fotos de la vista que tengo desde ahí. Fue entonces cuando empezó a llover y pobre de mi cámara, en aquel entonces era una Canon 700D que para nada era a prueba de agua y mucho menos el lente, un 18-55mm bastante básico. Tuve que aguardar que escampara bajo un pequeño espacio antes de poder bajar, mejor eso que perder mi cámara.
Para mi suerte no duro mucho la lluvia pero fue lo suficiente para crear charcos y poder usar los reflejos que se crean con ello. Es por ello que cambie de idea y comencé a fijarme en esos pequeños charcos y uno fue especial. En este pequeño charco había un modelo bastante tranquilo y dispuesto a posar para la cámara, hasta sonreía.
Sometimes as photographers we go out with the intention of doing some kind of photography and we end up doing others, because this was one of those cases. My idea when I took the camera was to go out on the roof and take some photos of the view I have from there. That was when it started to rain and my camera was poor, at that time it was a Canon 700D that was not waterproof at all, much less the lens, a fairly basic 18-55mm. I had to wait for it to clear under a small space before I could go down, better than losing my camera.
Luckily, the rain didn't last long but it was enough to create puddles and to be able to use the reflections that are created with it. That is why I changed my mind and began to notice those little puddles and one was special. In this small puddle there was a model who was quite calm and willing to pose for the camera, even smiling.
Lo que más me impactó fue como parecía flotar sobre el agua y disfrutaba de ella, como si nadara deslizándose en ella. La piel del lagarto jugaban con el reflejo y el relieve del lugar, poco tuve que hacer en edición para mejorarlos. Espero disfruten de las imágenes y nos vemos pronto
What struck me the most was how it seemed to float on the water and I enjoyed it, as if swimming sliding in it. The skin of the lizard played with the reflection and the relief of the place, I had little to do in editing to improve them. Hope you enjoy de images and see you soon.
La siguiente es para mí la mejor de todas por la calma que transmite más el hecho de que pareciera sonreír. Casi una imagen minimalista en mi humilde opinión y fue la ganadora de un reto entre colegas fotógrafos de un club de fotografía cubano.
The following is for me the best of all for the calm that conveys more the fact that it seems to smile. Almost a minimalist image in my humble opinion and was the winner of a challenge among fellow photographers from a Cuban photography club.
